Please join us for the next in the series of Dialogs to discuss critical issues that affect the Sierra Nevada and the Cascades ranges as well as the people who live, work, and recreate there. Participants are invited to consider the future management of national forests and gain an understanding of different perspectives about management options. Dialogs bring together stakeholders and US Forest Service representatives from throughout the state, especially the Sierra-Cascades for an opportunity to discuss national forest management.
Forest stakeholders sometimes have differing ideas or desires for the future of the National Forests. Participants will be asked to identify ways that the Forest Service can work with diverse interests to identify desired conditions that have broad agreement as the agency revises the management plans for national forests in the Sierra Nevada and Cascades.
The insights and ideas shared in the dialog among participants and NFS staff will inform the long-term planning and decision making regarding national forests in the Sierra Nevada and Cascades regions. Come learn about other communities and stakeholders; come lend your voice to the conversation.
